In 2017 we incorporated StoneEdge SICAV and have been associated with StoneEdge Asset Management (SEAM), a collective asset manager approved by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), since July 2020 (www.stoneedgeam.ch).
StoneEdge SICAV is an externally managed open-ended investment company under Swiss law in the “real estate funds” category, within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Collective Investment Schemes (CISA). It was founded in October 2017 and registered with the Office of the Commercial Register of the Canton of Vaud under number CHE-382.705.410.
The SICAV’s Board of Directors comprises Pascal Favre, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Jean-Luc Rochat, Vice-Chairman, independent director, and Me Jean-Yves Rebord, Secretary, partner at Valfor Avocats Sàrl.
The SICAV has entrusted its administration, management and distribution to Global Funds SA, Geneva, fund manager (www.globalfunds.ch). Asset management and investment decisions for the SICAV’s investor sub-fund have been delegated to StoneEdge Asset Management SA, Lausanne. Banque Cantonale Vaudoise acts as custodian bank. The sole purpose of the SICAV is the management of its assets or of its sub-funds in the form of a collective capital investment in accordance with the legislation on collective investments, as well as the formation of investors’ share capital and the distribution of their investor shares.
It is reserved for qualified investors. The circle of shareholders is limited to: (i) private clients within the meaning of Art. 10 para. 3 ter CISA to whom a financial intermediary within the meaning of Art. 4 para. 3 let. a of the Federal Act on Financial Services (FSinG) provides asset management services within the meaning of Art. 3 let. c ch. 3 LSFin,(ii) to wealthy private clients within the meaning of art. 5 para. 1 and 2 LSFin, and (iii) to professional clients within the meaning of art. 10 para. 3 LPCC.
